I have a two year old son who went through various stages of use of pacifiers. He has given them up recently. I am expecting our 2nd child in 3 months and I am wonderng if the pacifiers that I saved from two years ago can be used for our new baby. The pacifiers have been sterilized and stored in a ziplock bag. I’m not sure if their is a lifespan or shelf life for pacifiers. I would prefer not to have to go buy a bunch of new pacifiers.
I appreciate any advice you can give me. Thank you.
Hi,
My baby is 10 weeks old and I see that he very slow when I feed him.
I am using level 1 nipple, Is there a rule on timing to switch to level 2
There isn’t a rule. It sounds as if he may be ready to switch. Give it a try and see what happens. Let me know!
It sounds like it is time to replace your pacifiers. With anything that is inserted into a child’s mouth, the concern is always 1) have the most recent version of an item, 2) that it is in good shape and won’t break or chip. Two years is a long time. Congrats on baby #2!
